Pressure Gauge

Pressure gauges are instruments designed to measure the pressure of media in a system. Measuring the pressure in your system is a critical quality step to ensure consistency of a product and safety check to be aware of leaks or building pressure in a system. Before specifying a gauge, it is important to understand the basic principles of what pressure is. Then the correct pressure gauge can be determined based on selection criteria, to accurately measure the pressure within the system. Even the best measuring equipment produces a certain deviation from the actual value. It is important to know how this measurement accuracy is defined. Digital gauges in comparison with analog ones have higher accuracy. Read our article on digital pressure gauges if you want to learn more about that type. Level Indicator

NRG GLOBAL INSTRUMENTS MAKE Tubular Level Gauge is used for visual liquid level indication and is the most commonly used instrument in the process industry. It is a simple and reliable device for level reading in atmospheric or pressurized tank applications. It is mounted parallel, along the side of the tank, so as to form a closed loop. As the process level fluctuates, the level in the transparent glass tube changes accordingly and gives local level indication. The Tubular Level Gauge manufactured by NRG GLOBAL INSTRUMENTS incorporates correct design, rugged construction, proper manufacturing techniques and skilled workmanship to give dependable performance and long service life. Material integrity is assured through strict compliance of chemical composition analysis in a standard laboratory.TUBULAR LEVEL GAUGE FEATURES• Choice of Tie Rod or C-Frame Construction.• With or without isolating valve.• Material integrity assured through strict compliance of chemical composition analysis in a Standard Laboratory.• H Grade Borosilicate glass tube 19/25 mm outer dia with Teflon Packing.• Glass tube an be removed online i.e. without disconnection from vessel• Standard Connection: 1/2" / 3/4" / 1" Flange drilled to ASA 150#, others on request• Aluminum/SS scale with 5 mm resolution as standard and 1 mm on request.• Drain Plug 1/2" Vent Plug 3/4" as std and drain/vent valve as optional• Safety Ball check device(optional).• Hydro test pressure: 12 KG/cm2, 100 Deg C max working temperature.• Defrost/illuminator available on request.

Pressure Gauge

Mechanical pressure gauges utilise an inner tube that is connected to a gear and shaft assembly that work together to move a pointer. When the pressure within the tube surges, the tube uncoils slightly. As the tube uncoils, the motion triggers the gear and shaft system that moves the pointer on the gauge. Pressure Gauge

Differential pressure gauges measure the difference between two pressures. They are suitable for the monitoring of filter contamination, for level measurement in closed vessels, for overpressure measurement in clean rooms, for flow measurement of gaseous and liquid media and for the control of pumping plants. In differential pressure gauges, different pressure elements and tube forms are used (diaphragm element, capsule element, Bourdon tube, etc.). This enables scale ranges of 0 ... 0.5 mbar up to 0 ... 1,000 bar to be covered, with a very high single and dual-sided and also bidirectional overload safety up to 400 bar. Pressure Gauge

NRG GLOBAL compound gauge is a device that can display both positive and negative (vacuum) pressures. You need to use a compound gauge when you are measuring a system that is exerting both positive and negative pressure on the gauge. Gauges are designed to measure specific types of pressure, so if you pick a simple pressure or vacuum gauge for a system that requires a compound gauge, the gauge will most likely be damaged. The exertion of negative pressure on a pressure gauge will cause damage, and likewise the exertion of positive pressure on a vacuum gauge will also damage the gauge. Pressure gauges use pounds per square inch (psi) as the unit of measure. Vacuum gauges, on the other hand, measure force in units of inches of mercury (in.Hg). Both of these measurements will be displayed on the face of a compound gauge (see the inset image). The needle in a compound gauge will move clockwise when measuring positive pressure, and counterclockwise when measuring negative pressure.
