It is a simple and reliable device for level reading in atmospheric or pressurized tank applications. It is mounted parallel, along the side of the tank, so as to form a closed loop. As the process level fluctuates, the level in the transparent glass tube changes accordingly and gives local level indication. NRG GLOBAL MAKE By-Pass Rotameter is an Inference type flow meter. Differential pressure (DP) is created by providing an Orifice Plate in the main line. Due to the differential pressure, fluid flows through branch pipes provided across the upstream and downstream sides of the Orifice Plate. An additional Range Orifice plate is provided in the by-pass line as flow through the by-pass line will be in proportion with Main Line. • Bye pass rotameters are used for measurement of higher flow rates where using inline flow meter is not commercially or functionally not viable. • It works on the principle of measuring differential pressure created across restriction. • The construction includes an orifice plate installed between either carrier ring or orifice/pipe flanges. • The Hi/Low pressure taps of carrier ring/orifice flange/ pipe are connected to indicating Rotameter with a help of impulse tube arrangement. End of Line Flame Arrester : Explanation End of line flame arrester: Flame arrester that is fitted with one pipe connection only. Deflagration = Explosion propagating at subsonic velocity End of line deflagration flame arrester is fitted at the end of vent line. Even at a small pressure difference between storage tank and atmosphere, gas, steam or aerosol escapes through the vent. If this gas, vapor or aerosol is ignited, then flame will propagate through the vent line into storage system. End-of-line deflagration flame arresters stops flame propagation at atmospheric explosion before flame enters into the storage tank.
