Pressure Gauge

Differential pressure gauges measure the difference between two pressures. They are suitable for the monitoring of filter contamination, for level measurement in closed vessels, for overpressure measurement in clean rooms, for flow measurement of gaseous and liquid media and for the control of pumping plants. In differential pressure gauges, different pressure elements and tube forms are used (diaphragm element, capsule element, Bourdon tube, etc.). This enables scale ranges of 0 ... 0.5 mbar up to 0 ... 1,000 bar to be covered, with a very high single and dual-sided and also bidirectional overload safety up to 400 bar. Pressure Gauge

A pressure gauge measures the pressure of a gas or liquid within a system. It monitors the fluid pressure in various applications, such as automotive, aerospace, medical, and manufacturing industries. Measuring the pressure in a system is critical to ensure the consistency of a product and a measure of safety to be aware of leaks or building pressure in a system. Before specifying a pressure gauge, it is important to understand the basic principles of pressure. This article covers how pressure gauges work and how to select one for an application. Pressure Gauge

NRG GLOBAL compound gauge is a device that can display both positive and negative (vacuum) pressures. You need to use a compound gauge when you are measuring a system that is exerting both positive and negative pressure on the gauge. Gauges are designed to measure specific types of pressure, so if you pick a simple pressure or vacuum gauge for a system that requires a compound gauge, the gauge will most likely be damaged. The exertion of negative pressure on a pressure gauge will cause damage, and likewise the exertion of positive pressure on a vacuum gauge will also damage the gauge. Pressure gauges use pounds per square inch (psi) as the unit of measure. Vacuum gauges, on the other hand, measure force in units of inches of mercury (in.Hg). Both of these measurements will be displayed on the face of a compound gauge (see the inset image). The needle in a compound gauge will move clockwise when measuring positive pressure, and counterclockwise when measuring negative pressure.
